Haqeeqat kaa saamna kaise main karu,
Tum to sapno ki hi ek pari ho,
Rehte hai zameen par hum jaroor,
Lekin yaad karte hai chaand ko.

Is tarah deewaane hue sundar si aakhon ke,
Ke khud ko hi bhool gaye,
Kaise sambhale is dil ko,
Nazaron ke in teero se?

Kaale badalon si zulfen woh tumhari,

Bas halke se hume choone do,

Iske chaav me aakar sochte hai ki,

Kyaa resham ka jaal hai woh?

Hoton se hoat, naino se nain, jism se jism ek hue,

Phir tum humko toh bhoola diye,

Zaalim thi tum jo magar,

Tumne, hamare dil par hi waar kiye?

Hasraton mein jeete hai jaise,

Har pal rehte hain pareshan

Dil ke zakham toh bhare nahi,

Kyaa mar jaana hai aasaan?

Your big brown eyes staring into the sea,

The silk of your hair falling on my knee,

We sat beside each other, my hands on your shoulders,

Listening to the waves crashing against the boulders.

Time went by, and I couldnt try

To leave you there, I couldnt say bye.

Wanted you, near me, it was swell.

If we parted, I couldnt really dwell.
