Both were very silent as they sat inside. Raj started the car and drove on, none asking the other where they should go for a ride. Both kept stealing glances at each other and sometimes at the same time, so that they saw eye to eye with each other. Trisha kept checking out Raj every now and then. They were passing through a narrow lane, when a kid of around 4-5 years of age, appeared from behind one of the parked cars. Instinctively Raj slammed the brakes and the car screeched to a stop safely before the kid. The kid was playing and jumping around as if nothing had happened.
For a moment, Raj was shocked. Trisha was shocked too and instinctively placed a hand on Raj's thigh squeezing it tightly. Few moments later, Raj looked at her. Trisha, on realising withdrew her hand. "Ill check out the ....kid....the car" Raj said and got out of the car, looked in the direction of the kid furiously. He checked the car tire. It had left a black skid mark on the road. As he had squatted near the tire, he felt a warm hand on his shoulder. "Is it ok Raj? Are you ok?" Trisha asked him softly. Then she caught him at the elbow and coaxed him to stand up. "Cmon, lets go, no harm done thankfully." she said.
When they sat in the car, Trisha placed a hand on Raj's shoulder and squeezed it gently, her face slightly bent towards and looking at him. "Good reflexes Raj. There couldve been an accident. But you saved the boy. You are sooo goood" Trisha said lingering the last two words.
Raj looked at her face, which was bent towards him. She was close enough for him to smell her perfume and he could see her beauty spots. Then their eyes met and they gazed at each other for a few moments, before someone honked from behind. The gaze was broken and this time Trisha swore...."What the fuck..."
Something had happened between them, Raj was sure and he was smiling again. Trisha flicked her hair aside and turned her face towards the window, smiling too. None of them spoke again for a while.
But they caught each other smiling in between. Once or twice Raj had run his fingers through his hair, whistled a love song and stared at her from head to toe, deliberately, making it obvious to her. She, in turn had intentionally pulled her hair in front, and turned towards the window so that he could see her fair neck and shoulders. She knew that he was looking and she was just absolutely loving it.
After some time, Raj said to Trisha, "You are looking very sexy today."
"Thanks for the compliment. You too - looking extremely attractive." said Trisha gazing at his eyes and biting her lips.
Raj blushed furiously. He felt the heat on his ears and was sure they had gone red.
Trisha laughed, "Hmmm....." she sighed. "Look at those ears, you are going red everywhere" she said touching his ears with her each of her fingertips and then withdrawing them hesitantly.
Raj laughed, but he was now sure that she was really getting onto him and he could now make further moves. The touch of her fingertips and the thoughts of her being physically close to him gave him goosebumps all over and an instant erection. His penis had started forming a mound in his jeans. Trisha looked at the mound directly, biting her lips and half closing her eyes....
Raj screeched the car in front of a medical store......
